What are the Hogueras?
The Hogueras are the biggest festival in Alicante. It celebrates the arrival of summer and, although it is prepared throughout the year, they last from June 20 until June 24, the «nit de la cremà». One of the most importants parts of the hogueras are the Barracas.
What's a Barraca?
During the hogueras, special enclosures are created to spend the festivities called «barracas». The idea is to gather there and each community has its own. They are the place where everything important happens during the bonfires. There are concerts, drinks, events and lots of people. A fundamental part of the hogueras that you can’t miss.

Festival Holi Party
A big party on the last day to end the Hogueras with a color dus party!!

Where are we?
We are located in Alona street nº 50, 7 minutes from the train station, 5 minutes from the bus station and 10 minutes from Luceros.
This is the first time something like this has been done, we are making history. Thank you all.

No problem at all… That’s the idea! We know how difficult it is to arrive new to a city and not have a group to share these moments with. That’s why we encourage people to come here, to make new friends and meet new people. There are many people in the same situation as you, you are not alone.
It is not necessary, there are many tables and once you have bought your ticket you are free to do whatever you want, as long as you do not disturb the rest. What we do assure you is that with the ticket you have a guaranteed place at your table.
A barraca is a very large enclosure, with many tables and a bar where people gather during the Bonfires. It is the place where everything happens and there are performances, music, dj’s and much more. If you want to know more about it you can click here: 7 Things About Hogueras
The bonfires are the biggest festival in Alicante. It is based on a week of partying in the Barracas while building monuments called Hogueras. Then they are burned on June 24. Each Barraca has its own bonfire and we have ours too. You can learn more by clicking here: 7 Things About Hogueras
